A few tips to take your running technique to the next level. Running should be natural, so you need to find out how your body moves so that it is effective. Running barefoot can get you in the right shape, so I often do quick runs, ankle play and other movements. Plus, you don’t have to think too much. When I monitor my heartbeat or am too focused on technique, then things start to go downhill.
Working with weights helps you to be a better runner. That doesn’t mean you have to go to the gym. You can do some speed exercises or some leg games. You will have to find the balance between the two.
Consistency helps a lot and if you can train without getting injured, so much the better. Also, do different runs. Don’t do two long runs a week, rather do four shorter ones, but stick to them. In my opinion is pretty much important.
